Design your own unforgettable Camino de Santiago experience!

If you prefer to travel on your own or with your own group in a specific date we’ll be more than pleased to design for you a private custom Camino. We will be happy to use our years of experience on the Camino in Spain and Portugal to create a tailor made journey with a personalized itinerary that suits your needs.

We can plan a Camino experience for you based on the number of days you have available with a minimum of 5 days of guided travel at the beginning of your trip and a minimum of 6 persons.

Our designed trips are built around 2 models:

1. just as we do for the fully guided tours.
2. for the first four days of your walk, we arrange accommodations, van transportation, breakfasts and dinners, luggage transport, and guiding services – The four guided days give you the time to get into the rhythm of the walk, to test your party’s stamina, and to gain confidence in navigating your own way. After those four learning days, you set off as an experienced independent traveler.

The public albergues do not make reservations. First come – First served. Private B&Bs and standard hotel reservations are possible. At high season, such reservations are encouraged. We offer the service of making reservations for you at facilities known to be clean and safe whose cost will fit into your budget.

The obvious question of having any day’s fixed destination — What if you or anyone of your party can not keep up the pace necessary to reach each night’s reservation? Well – the first four days of guided travel includes a van that can provide transportation between short checkpoints. Anyone who’s tired can ride between checkpoints throughout the day. Those days are the opportunity for everyone in your party to learn their capacity for long walks on a daily basis. If it becomes obvious that the distances planned between reservations are longer than the comfort level of any of your party, all is not lost. There are taxi services along the route to ferry tired pilgrims to their night’s accommodations.
